I'd be willing to skip forward a year as well to get my hands on that book! Alina was trying to do something good for the country and Mal was just whining. He definitely made up for it :D And I adore Alina, she is great. I also can't wait to see more of The Darkling, he is such a fascinating character.Mel@Thedailyprophecyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01516514938771433319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-715903518304144785.post-33994530468564240252013-09-06T03:41:34.067-07:002013-09-06T03:41:34.067-07:00I had my qualms with this book... I loved the first part with the Darkling coming back, Sturmhond's part on it and all the new twists introduced to the story but then... the rest of the book seemed just a long excuse of a waiting game... nothing happening, no new information... just waiting for the Darkling to come.

I think both Alina and Mal are acting selfishly towards their relationship... they are not being strong for each other and trusting each other to get through things together, instead they're hiding things from each other and blaming the other... that was also quite frustrating for me!

Great review Samantha!
