Top Ten Sequels I Can't Wait To Get

Honestly, cutting this list to only 10 books was extremely hard. I've started so many new series this year and I'm dying for the sequel to them all (well, most of them)! So this week I'm cheating and I have a top 14 for you guys! One of them doesn't have a title and five don't have covers, but I NEED THEM RIGHT NOW. They aren't in any particular order, I was just trying to get books with covers in every group of 4.
This is the follow up to Stolen Songbird which I read earlier this year and absolutely LOVED. The writing was beautiful, the world was amazing and the ending was a killer! I'm dying to get the next book and find out what's going to happen to Cecile & Tristan.
I read The Jewel not too long ago, but it brought back my love for the dystopian genre because it was such an amazing book! And yet again, what an ending! It was a major "OH MY GOD!" moment and I'm dying for book 2.
Uninvited was one of the first books I read this year, and I still remember everything about it! I completely fell in love with Sophie Jordan's extremely dark and cruel world, and I can't wait to see what's in store for Davy and Sean next.
It's been almost a year since I read Defy and I'm still dying after the slightly heartbreaking ending. I loved Alexa because she was awesome and badass, and I can't wait to see her be even more awesome and badass in Ignite!
I read Alienated at the beginning of this year and I looooooooved it! I loved the world Landers had created, but I especially loved Aelyx. And also Cara. The ending was kind of crazy and I'm dying to see what's going to happen and I can't wait to see L'eihr!
Fire & Flood is one of the best dystopian books I've ever read. Seriously, I loved it. It was such a crazy rollercoaster of a book, and I can't wait to get my hands on Salt & Stone.
I MUST KNOW WHO KILLED NOLAN. Seriously, this book is so crazy and full of twist and jaw-dropping moments. I need the sequel.
The first book cut off at a very important moment! I may have screamed a little when I realised the book was finished and I'd have to wait for more.
I absolutely loved Half Bad when I read it earlier this year. Definitely one of the best witch books I've ever read. I can't wait to get back into this world.
Get Even was such a rollercoaster of twists and emotions for me. I absolutely loved it and the ending was CRAZY. I neeeeeeed Get Dirty so I can find out who's behind everything!
I loved To All the Boys I've Loved Before. It was such a sweet and adorable read and I'm really excited to see if anything with happen with Lara Jean and Peter, or whether the new guy is the guy for Lara Jean.
I loved the world Angelini created in Trial of Fire and I'm really excited to dive back into it and hopefully find out more about Lillian!
The Winner's Curse was FANTASTIC! I can't wait to find out what Rutkoski has in store next (probably more pain)!
I really enjoyed Hexed when I read it earlier this year - a really great witchy book! The ending was a killer and I'm dying to get my hands on Charmed and find out what's going to happen!

So there we go! That's the 14 sequels that I'm dying to get my hands on! There are probably more, but these are the ones I can remember off the top of my head, so I really am dying for these ones!
What sequels are you dying to get your hands on?

  6. Haha! We're both cheaters this week. *high-five*
Although Invaded wasn't on my list, I'm totally excited for it too! But I'm a little scared it's going to be a "New Moon" book. You know where the couple is separated for 90% of the book. Hopefully I'm very wrong!
That Sophie Jordan series, is going to a duology right? I'll totally binge them in the new year when Unleashed is released.
Of course we have a lot of the same ones. Soooooo many sequels next year. I swear 2014 was the year for series enders and series starters. Big year, 2014. Big year.

  7. I still have most of the first books in your series on my TBR list-but I will agree-who the heck killed Nolan?! That's making me crazy and I totally want to read the Good Girls now!

  8. I can't wait for Half Wild too! I agree with you - it's definitely one of the best witch books. I really need to start some of the other series you mentioned, especially The Winner's Curse, Trial by Fire and Hexed!
Hope you enjoy these books when you get to them :-)
