Showcase Sunday #89

Hello everyone and happy new year! I hope you guys had a fantastic holiday! I definitely did, I barely had any time to myself! I've been house sitting for the past 3 weeks and I moved back home today, so this post is quite a bit later than usual!

It's been a while since I posted a Showcase Sunday, so I have quite a few books to show you guys. I picked up a couple of books in The Works sale (one I never intended to own a physical copy because it doesn't match the rest of the series); a few kindle books and quite a few e-arcs from Edelweiss (I couldn't resist). I also got a Christmas present from Brittany!

Brittany sent me two of her favourites books for Christmas - both of which I've been dying to read! She also got me the most adorable Harry Potter bookmarks and a book tote bag - which I've been using all the time. Thank you, Brittany!

What books did you get this week?

  3. Those Harry Potter bookmarks look really nice. You got some interesting looking books. The Forever Song was a great conclusion to the Blood of Eden series.

    1. I absolutely adore them! I loved The Forever Song. I wasn't sure whether or not to get it in physical copy (since it doesn't match the rest of my books), but it was only £1 so w/e!

  4. Yay! So glad you love the prezzies. :D I might have to get myself that tote too. I actually don't know why I haven't. Lol.
Clipped Wings! Firefly Lane! :D :D :D I hope you love them. Both will require tissues. So be prepared. Haha.
Inspire = :( I wonder if anyone else felt the same as you? I've been seeing such great reviews, but I know I will feel exactly the same as you. So disappointing. Luckily I got my money back. Did you try to return yours?
I assume you never meant to buy The Forever Song? Have you thought about eventually collecting the US paperbacks? I think they're pretty. And I know you adore this trilogy. :)
I'm really excited for The Cage. I'll definitely be looking at for your review.

    1. Of course I do! I totally knew you'd get me The Sea of Tranquility since you've been trying to get me to read it for ages! You should, it's such a cute tote <3
Both require tissues? I'll make sure not to read them right after each other then! I'm so disappointed too. I keep seeing them too and I'm like "Why couldn't I like it?!" *sad face* Nah. I probably should have, but I didn't. I never meant to, but for £1 I couldn't pass it up. I may try and get the new covers of The Immortal Rules & The Eternity Cure that match The Forever Song - but only if they're cheap!
Me too! Humans on exhibit? It just sounds amaaaaazing!
