Showcase Sunday #67

Showcase Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by Vicky at Books, Bite a biscuits and Tea. This meme allows book bloggers to show off the books they collected over the last week.

Hello everyone! This week has been a pretty quiet week for me. I spent a lot of time reading and catching up on review books this week so I'm pretty happy with that.

Bookwise, I bought 3 books this week (2 physical and 1 kindle), I got a few review books and I also got a book out of my library.

How to Fall in Love by Cecelia Ahern

What books did you get this week?

  1. Nice bargain on those books, Half bad looks good :) I love the cover from In a handful of dust, but I want to read Not a drop to drink first. I really hope Hexed delivers. Happy reading!

    1. I really enjoyed Half Bad. I had to grab a physical copy when it was so cheap! I love the cover for it too. I still need to get to Not a Drop to Drink. Hopefully I'll get around to it soon! I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I'm super excited for it!

  2. I can't wait to hear what you think of Hexed because that has been jumping out at me for ages.

    1. I'm dying to get to it! I've been looking forward to it for ages! I'll definitely be sure to let you know what I think of it :)

  3. Ooooh, I'm so envious of you getting both Hexed and In A Handful of Dust!
I cannot wait to hear what you think!
    Happy reading!

    1. I was jumping around when I got approved for Hexed! I'm so freaking excited for that one!
      Thanks Pili! :D

  4. In A Handful of Dust look amazing! I absolutely adored Not A Drop to Drink! Also Hexed looks really cool as does Half Bad! Great haul this week! :)

    1. It does! Glad to hear you enjoyed the first one, I still need to get around to it.
Half Bad is really good! I just wanted to own a physical copy :)

  5. YAY for getting your hands on Half Bad so cheap. And The Rosie Project too. I think we discussed this one and how I love it. :D
Mmmmmm....Nash. Weird how we both have this one this week. ;) GIMMIE ROWDY NOW!
Oh hey, I've had Pure sitting on my shelf forever. I've heard it's a fantastic post-apocalyptic. Get to it one day.
Good haul this week. Mmmmm...Nash. Lol!
    Happy reading, Sam! :D

    1. Yay! I just had to have it when I saw the cover. We did! I remembered you saying it was hilarious so I picked it up :) HAHAHAHA! Yes! ROWDY PLEASE!
Ooooh, maybe we should read it together then?

  6. Ah awesome books! I must must must read Half Bad! It's been sitting on my TBR pile for far too long! Let me know what you think of Pure- I read it a while back and wasn't too sure about it. Happy reading :) xx

    1. It's soooooo good! It does take a bit to get into, but it's fantastic. :)
I will! I'm hoping to get to it soon :)

  7. Eeee, awesome haul! I so want Half Bad but its 9 euro here for the PB so Im going to wait till I can get it online. Ive heard great things about the Marked Men series but I dont think they are my kind of thing! Pure and Fuse sound awesome and I have Hexed on my wishlist! Enjoy them all :)

    1. Really? That's pretty expensive! It's a great series, but I'd only recommend it if you're a massive NA fan. They do! I've been eyeing Pure for quite a while. I'm super excited for Hexed! :D
      Thanks Natalie :)

  8. Great haul! I'm going to have to add some of these to my ever increasing tbr pile. :P I must say Half Bad looks the most intriguing. Enjoy!

  9. I have not been to the library in a while! :) My local one has recently been shut down! :/

Aha! I see you have been a victim of the 2 for £7.00 offer at Tesco! I am always going for that since they have such a good section of books. They are 3 for £10 at ASDA at the minute so that got me too. Go check it out if you have one local. Such a good selection! :)

I bought The Rosie Project a couple of weeks ago and I have yet to read it. I look forward to your thoughts! :)

Thanks for sharing & enjoy your books!

    My Showcase Sunday :)
